The Rings Of Saturn by W.G. Sebald

challenging dark informative inspiring reflective sad medium-paced

Wonderful, mind-expanding, multi-layered, melancholic and thought-provoking. The book, and many of the scenes in it exist somewhere between novel and non-fiction. The metaphors and themes of memory, creativity, industry, light and shade, and labyrinths writhe their way throughout the book. Mind blown.
