Incredible story with some of the funniest-without-trying-too-hard internal dialog I have read yet. The story is told in duel first person POV, with both characters having a unique voice and sense of humor. I need book 2 right away!!
Ophelia is so relatable in not only her grief and depression but her overall weirdness. She and I would be good friends who never hang out but send memes to each other every day. And Alex? The man you are, woooo boy.
My ONLY complaint is that I wish there as at least one more Alex POV chapter to translation the reader into how down bad he is for Ophelia. It doesn’t hurt the immersion of the story. More of the Parmesan cheese on top of spaghetti and meatballs. Not required but adds a little something more.
