Unromance
by Erin Connor
I will say, it took me a bit to fully get into this book (then again I was on an MM kick) but wow. I picked it back up today and could not put it down. I truly loved each character, especially Sawyer as I related heavily to her. The wit she carried, how against romance she was.
Mason? UGH green fucking flag Jesus it’s like neon green honestly. I loved him! Their banter throughout the entire book, the flirts back to one another. How down bad he was for because even in the third act breakup ? (Which I fucking hate those truly) but this one did it right. It wasn’t some dark secret that came afloat that shook both characters, it was Sawyer being scared to fall in love again. To share her soul to another person.
I was dead at each chapter with the little lines below describing somewhat what the chapter was about. Was my favorite part. I had heard of this book from a book toker and sought out to buy it and I am glad I have read it. I laughed, kicked my feet like the book obsessed lover I am and genuinely loved each part of this book. (Besides the third act breakup as mentioned but it didn’t annoy me as much as other books I have read when done)
