Did not finish book. Stopped at 4%.

My first dnf of the year, ugh. Didn’t want that to happen so soon, but not only was the prose of this book so stilted, but having a character who’s lived all her life in bend oregon not know that Dallas oregon exists, nor does she bother to check, just screams lazy researching, only further exasperated by assuming that a tiny conservative town like Dallas would have a pride festival. Put some actual effort in next time.
