Jinx (21) has always had a crush on his sister’s best friend Julia (22). Whenever Jinx needed comfort or saving Julia was always there, she truly was always his person. I enjoyed the fact that Jinx was the shy, and innocent one in this situation. Definitely gave the hurt/ comfort feels. It felt different with her doing the teaching instead of him, it was very interesting. Julia is someone who is strong and confident in whom she is, but I loved that we get to vulnerable to side to her as well. I’m excited to read the ready of the Caldwell series when it comes out. This is told in third person in dual pov.
One thing I have learned about Amber Wardens books is that they tend to be on the heavier side. So I encourage to check the TWs before reading.
