A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle

4.0

“It's quite exciting," said Sherlock Holmes, with a yawn.”

“There are fifty who can reason synthetically for one who can reason analytically.”

“It is a mistake to confound strangeness with mystery.”

“When a man writes on a wall, his instinct leads him to write above the level of his own eyes.”

Awesome, really awesome - it had to be, for it brought forth one of the best fictional characters of all time in Sherlock Holmes. It is beautiful how Watson paints you picture of Holmes' nature. I would have given full stars but the story of criminal given in second part is bit boring making me take that last star.
