gemtea2000 's review for:
Every Dead Thing
by John Connolly
Too long and convoluted for my taste. Connolly's leanings toward fantasy/horror make for even better type mystery for many so I can see why these are loved by many. The Charlie Parker series, that is. However, I go more for Ken Bruen's Jack Taylor who writes with poetic depth and yet proves the power and beauty of simplicity in a series that is as blood curdling as any.
