Laws of Physics: Motion by Penny Reid

medium-paced

4.0

The book relies on an oldie but a goodie, identical twins switching places in order to fool someone for someone else’s benefit.

When Mona agrees to pretend to be her sister Lisa in order to prevent her parents finding out she is in jail and cutting her off it upends Mona’s world. Not only is she nothing like her sister but she has a strong sense of right and wrong and the ruse is playing havoc with her value system. Now enter the complication of her brother’s friend Abram who is supposed to be watching over “Lisa” to make sure she doesn’t get in any more trouble.

The book presents some interesting quandaries and as it ends on a major cliffhanger be sure you are ready to dive right into book two!
