Dance of the Gods by Nora Roberts

4.0

Blair is used to working on her own but when she is called to Ireland to help the goddess Morrigan defeat evil along with five others she is ready for the challenge. Blair finds it hard to trust and opening up to new people is not easy for her but she needs to learn to work as a team if they are to succeed. As they prepare for battle she can't help but grow close to Larkin, a shapeshifter who enjoys a joke as much as a desire to fight for right. But not only the battle but their differences are fighting to keep them apart. Will Blair and Larkin be able to reconcile their growing feelings and find peace before they are tested in battle together? A great growth in the larger story line of the Circle Trilogy. As these characters get closer the reader grows closer to the final battle and the excitement of seeing love, and right, win. Fun read!
