The Accidental Diva by Tia Williams

5.0

Huge fan of this author! Tia Williams does a great job at getting the audience to indulge themselves with each character. She describes characters and scenes impeccably so that you can envision it. Great at setting up dialogue. She uses dialogue to continually customize each character’s personality and description. Tia Williams is a genius with comedy in completely shading characters or trends or various personality types. Williams throws subtle and accurate shade with ease. She’s quick witted and I definitely laughed out loud at a few scenes. She uses characters and dialogue to expose the thoughts and feelings WE have during intimate conversations with friends.

Tia doesn’t write weak women needing a rescue but writes strong women who fall into some shit and figure it out along the way. Which is why I love her writing!

Accidental Diva is filled with comical dialogue and steamy romance which makes for the perfect “Chick Book”. It explores the mass culture appropriation of the fashion and business industry while exploring the depths of two lovers from different worlds. I read this book in 3 days! Definitely a page turner!
