Jenny was my favorite character in The Write Place, so I was very excited to read this book as it is her story. As expected, it did not disappoint!
Through past and present timelines, we learn more about Jenny’s life and her nine year on and off friendship/co-worker relationship with Ben. I found myself rooting for them since the first day they met, and while I got super frustrated at times, I also understand that timing is everything. Jenny and Mac’s friendship so memorable and Jenny’s selflessness and loyalty to those she loves is admirable. This was such a cute and cozy read with a little spice added in and I highly recommend it.
I also need Jenny’s meatball recipe ASAP!
