Peter Pan
by J.M. Barrie
fast-paced
As someone who notoriously hates reading classics, this was fine. It's easily read, and if you're a fan of the Peter Pan movies, like I was as a child, reading this is very nostalgic. I loved the 2003 live-action with Jeremy Sumpter, so reading some lines like "Strike true" and "the cleverness of me" made me want to rewatch. Overall, I had a decent time reading this, but I'd never reread it.
Side note, this line confuddled me so much:
"...some unsteady fairies had to climb over him on their way home from an orgy." excuse me??
