I really loved this installment of the series. I've said it every time, but the art in this series is so stunning. My heart breaks a lot for Echo and the pain she feels as she learns the history of her people. It hurts seeing how heartbroken she is and how she can't change the effects of what happened and can only watch. The twist at realizing Benjamin and Josephine are her ancestors wasn't one that I was expecting but I loved! I always wondered how they seemed to notice and interact with her differently than the others of the past and that explains it. I believe that the next volume is the final one of the series, which makes me a bit sad but I'm interested in seeing how the series wraps up.
