I must admit, I may have purchased this book for it's cover. It's so pretty! However, the story inside isn't so much.

The story follows the main character Gia as she navigates a sort of 'rock bottom' stage in her life. She's been out of work for 5 months, the rent is late and her savings is dwindling. As she's developing her plan to dig herself out of this dilemma, she decides to sign up on a sugar daddy site- hoping a sugar daddy can help get her life back on track. She does in fact meet a sugar daddy and accepts his unconventional offer.

The story starts with a seemingly stable and correct BDSM Pet Play contract-but it quickly devolves into a nightmare for Gia.

I found this story to be really relatable- in the way that sometimes we choose the easy road in lieu of the harder(morally correct if you will) road. It also highlights the abuse that can happen when you loose your autonomy. This is an extreme horror novel, so please be aware that you will be reading some very grotesque things- check your triggers.
