You're trying to get away.
Yes. But in the end I don't, do I?
No.
The title certainly prepares you for the experience that is reading this book.
There's honestly not much I can say that won't be a spoiler, so I'll say this: it's confusing, but I promise it will make sense in the end.
Overall, I really liked this! I went into it knowing that it serves as commentary on Argentina's use of pesticides in water, and I think that relating the plot to a real-life horror helped me enjoy it more.
The only reason it didn't rank higher is because I didn't find myself experiencing any kind of major reaction. I was just kind of like "oh, woah, that was good."
Also: if you liked this, I would recommend watching the movie "Upstream Color."
