Summary for me: Hannah got charged with the murder of her brother, mother and stepfather. As a favor Frieda looks into it. She is not convinced Hannah did it. Erin, who collects stuff of crimes, gets murdered for helping Frieda. They discover that the murdered woman isn't Hannah's mother bit the mother of a friend of hers. Apparently, the officer handling the case did it as he had an affair with the mother. She aborted his child and didn't want to leave her husband anymore. In revenge he killed her son and husband and dressed up Shelly's mother as Hannahs mother and mutilated her face beyond recognition. He then let Hannah take the fall for it.

Meanwhile somebody gets involved looking for Dean bit gets murdered and turns up beneath the Frieda's floor.
