Where the Drowned Girls Go by Seanan McGuire

5.0

Best one yet!!! The culmination of so many little details that Seanan McGuire has put into the story really hit here. Its the most cohesive and the character development is prime and ready to go from the moment the story begins. Its thrilling and powerful to follow Kora along on a journey in which she finds herself. The emergence of a clear villian in this world really brings a lot of weight to the main reality despite all the other realities having more weight than the main one throughout the rest of the book. Now, even their own world may be in peril.

The conversations about being a hero would really poignant and the writing in this one is at its strongest its ever been in the series. Seanan McGuire in her stride truly.

Also the Audiobook narrator for this one was fire. She had the PERFECT voice for Somi. Will never hear Somi in any other way.
