The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers by Maxwell King

4.0

5 stars for the subject matter, 3 stars for the writing.

Lots to feel good about in this book. It took some long, rambling tangents about ancillary characters and background info that I didn't care about. Definitely did some skimming, especially in the earlier chapters. But there are lots of fun Mister Rogers anecdotes, and it was really affirming to see that, by all accounts, he was the warm and genuine person he portrayed on television.
