This book will change your life. A must-read. In terms of plot, style, and characterization, it doesn't measure up to The Fountainhead, but I understand if after writing a 1,100 page tome, Rand just wanted to be done (and hence didn't spend much time revising it).
Okay, I just knocked ANOTHER star off my review as a friend reminded me of John Galt's utter stupidity. I get the whole symbolism about how the heroes worship the best that is possible in man, but John Galt is most certainly NOT the picture of man's highest potential.
