The Highland Fling by Meghan Quinn
3.0
This was a breezy read. It was cute, fun, and had a lovely romance.
I can't say I always liked our protagonists, their attitudes were at times less cute and more cringe.
But I definitely came to care for them. In particular Bonnie with her cake and orgasm checklists had my eyes rolling, and yet I found myself protective of her when it seemed those closest to her had turn their backs to her. I hated seeing her deepest insecurity turned against her. I realized that even when I was hiding my face in secondhand embarrassment at Bonnie's antics, I really did love her and wanted to see her succeed, find herself, and get that deserved happily ever after.
Overall, a sweet read!
