The Devious Husband
by Catharina Maura
A beautiful conclusion to a series that stole my heart from the very beginning.
I will admit I was a little hesitant at the start of the book. I honestly wasn't sure how I felt about Sierra. She didn't initially feel like the character we fell in love with throughout the other stories. Luckily, that feeling passed quickly and suddenly it's 1am and I need to be up in 4 hours.
This book gave me all the feels. I hurt with them, I was happy with them and I cried with them. I also think the issues of grief and trauma were handled very well.
My only complaint is a wish the setups for her future books were less obvious. I feel that at times it was taking away from Sierra and Xavier. I will read her books no matter what, she didn't need to sell me on it already.
