4.5

I have no idea what just happened but it was brilliant.
"She knew him in the density of their life together, not outside of it." Fox's prose was lyrical and the whole thing was foreboding of something lying under the surface waiting to snap, being dampened and also provoked by Sophie and Otto's actions. I could read this book three times over and still feel like there's more I could get out of it. 4.5 stars, but only because I'm a dumb bitch.
