Fun read, the dust-wife and Agnes are easily my favorites. I was expecting a darker and more literary read, so it ended up falling short of my hopes. But it's great for what it actually is: a comedic and dark (ish) twist on fairy tale tropes set in a cool little world with fae-like elements. Reads like a step up from YA fantasy, but not that far off. Simply a fun weekend read.
Graphic: Pregnancy
Moderate: Domestic abuse, Physical abuse, Sexual violence
Minor: Child death, Confinement, Death, Miscarriage, Slavery, Trafficking
The quest is to kill a prince who is physically and sexually abusing his wife. It isn't on-the-page or graphic, but the wife does speak about it and it's referenced throughout.
