All the Best People by Sonja Yoerg

5.0

They are the best people. Not because they're perfect, but because they're perfectly real. Their flaws and quirks are relatable, their missteps understandable. I found myself cheering for all of them -- even the villian/vixen, who was more a victim of her circumstances than all-out evil. I love stories that put our own lives in perspective -- the choices we have in our 21st century world, while sometimes daunting, offer opportunities that previous generations simply did not have. Yoerg's characters face adversity and challenges that help us understand what it truly means to test one's own resources and inner strength.
