I don't know where to begin. But in one line i can say that this romance was not for me.
Firstly, everything progressed too quickly; whether its their love story and their attraction. It went from you're not my type to I'm attracted to them too quickly which was unrealistic. Even the parts of the story that were supposed to be a plot twist felt too shallow and not properly executed. They just came and went like wind. (Also, btw, I guessed both the twists a mile away)
The traumas given to the main characters felt like it was done to give some depth to them. But it was futile. The traumas were nothing but an unrealistic soap opera story.
I'm quite okay with forced proximity and grumpy-sunshine trope (Not a fan of brother's best friend trope actually, but I'll tolerate it). But I can't accept the I'll burn the word for you" nonsense. There's one line in the book "once I found out what it was, I would hunt it to the ends of the earth and tear it apart with my bare hands." I also can't accept "I need to protect you" and be a stalker, a man not understanding or respecting a woman's no. I like the smutty scenes at times but not where they're degrading. The sex scenes and the romance aspect of the male character was shy bit like christian Grey if you leave the BDSM part out.

I understand that its fiction. But there are some things that I just can't endure. Hence, 2 stars.
