I really enjoyed this book but didn’t feel like it needed to be a part of the Chicago Ruthless series. Like it’s tied to series, sure, but it was so different and felt removed from the family. Like with the rest of the series, there were a number of twists and turns that really added to the storyline and kept me engaged. I’m hopeful that as I read more of this author’s work this character and storyline makes a little more sense as it appears that she weaves characters between series.
