The Dictator by Penelope Sky

4.0

After Sienna’s betrayal, she was on her knees about to get executed… until get blurred out she was pregnant. And time stopped.

Cato couldn’t do it while his baby was growing inside her. She had nine more months to live.

Book two is about Sienna’s life getting turned upside down and being nearly a prisoner to Cato.
Trying to convince Cato that she changed her mind on betraying Cato and wasn’t going to ever go through handing him over, trying to get Cato to understand that she only wanted to save her family, and convincing this stubborn man to not kill her after her baby is born.

“She knew exactly who I was. That terrified me. I didn’t want to give her any more power. Because it would destroy me.”

Somewhere, feelings grow. The betrayal still stings. But feelings grow and so does the baby they made.

Cato is also dealing with enemies encroaching on his dealings and he’s not happy.
