Blood of Troy by Claire M. Andrews

5.0

Claire M. Andrews delivers again. I love this series so much and the second installation was just as wonderful as the first book. It was centered around the Trojan War but it's not like any retelling I know of it. The Greeks are not the main focus, which is refreshing. The vast cast of characters was exciting but their interactions were strong and memorable. I'm a classicist and recognized almost everyone; however, I think someone who is not familiar with greek mythology would be able to keep up and understand what's going on. I really enjoyed the character building in this one. I wanted more Apollo though and that's my only complaint. Maybe in the 3rd book?
