“Promise me forever–I’ll give you eternity”

Everyone says the toughest reviews to write are the books you love the most. It should come as no surprise that writing this review has been absolute torture! I started this series last year and have been immersed from the first book. I am not certain how Rachel does it, but each book in this series just gets better. This one is NO exception. It is explosive from the first page until the last. I devoured it one sitting; there was no way to stop once I started. Tex has always been shrouded in mystery. I could not wait to learn all his secrets, deep inside he is complex and dark. Would he ever truly reveal himself to Mo? Would she ever truly save him?

“I’d always been a sucker for wounded animals…so it made sense I’d fall for a guy like Tex, one who’ll never fit in, one who never saw the sheer beauty of the man that we was.

The main narrators are Mo and Tex but there are chapters told from other POVs, as well. I love this about Eagle Elite. There are so many components and characters but you never feel left out or missing any of the story. Rachel gives you glimpses into all the key players. There is also humor mixed in with the angst and emotional scenes; it is the perfect balance.

“Ladies. Tuck those ovaries back into your pants and grow some balls–nobody’s punching anyone.”

There are new revelations that I never saw coming. Each chapter seems to have a new twist or turn. Rachel definitely keeps her readers on their toes. Thankfully, there is no insane cliffhanger. However, I will be waiting impatiently for this next book in this series!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series to any NA fan! It has everything you could imagine and more.
