Cry Wolf
by Patricia Briggs
I predicted the ending about 40 pages before I got to it, but it was still a good read. I loved this and hated it in a way. The character development stops once the plot begins to take over. I wanted more of everyone and that always seems to be my problem with Patricia Briggs' books. She creates such fascinating characters, the little glimpses you get of the minor ones isn't enough. And the major ones are major for a reason -- they're endlessly interesting. They deserve their own TV shows. Anna and Charles were the heart of this story and I was still hungry for more of them by the end of it. They're unconventional and romantic in a good way. I guess that's how you know you have a really great thing going!
