I enjoyed this book. I really appreciate how the author handled the OCD/mental health aspect with such care.

Rose and Tristan have been friends since high school. Tristan is actually Rose's brother Rob's best friend. They're all going to UVA now, and Rose and Rob are roommates, while Tristan practically lives there too.

Rose's OCD tends to manifest with compulsions. She finds peace in watching historical movies to ease her anxiety and control her impulses. However, Tristan has a way of ruining her enjoyment of these movies. So, she decides on revenge, but things don't go as planned.

Throughout the book, both Tristan and Rose struggle with communication. Rose's OCD involves intrusive thoughts, causing her to imagine worst-case scenarios. Meanwhile, Tristan struggles to express his feelings effectively, leading to a lot of conflict.

I found Rose to be so relatable. As someone dealing with OCD and anxiety, I really connected with her struggles. I was thrilled to see the author incorporating therapy for Rose.

The slow burn and pining in the story had me hooked on the way it was written. I highly recommend it!
