Rounded up to a 3.5 because of the ending.
I am so happy that he did not keep to the promise that he made to her. Majority of the people that read this book rated it 4-5 stars however I am not in that category. This author we will never know if it's a sad or happy ending and I am so happy that it was a happy ending cause honestly I really needed it. Travis as a character I really enjoyed he seemed so sweet and carefree, and it seemed like he genuinely loved her and cared for her.
Gabby on the other hand was a little bit hard to like, this book was glorified cheating, they spent the weekend together, he kissed her. Gabby had a boyfriend and she knew that but still did all these things with Travis, now I know they were just hanging out as friends but at some point that took a turn into something more, and she should have stopped it there but she didn't she allowed for it to happen.
I did enjoy this book, just not the glorified cheating part of it, I am still going to be reading his other books because I do love his stories and they are good and I want to have my own collection of all the Nicholas Sparks books.
