Absolutely love the art style. Wonderfully drawn, and particularly unnerving if you have megalophobia. Unfortunately the story was very thin, I almost wish they would have spent more time building up people’s obsession with Remina. The story just went from 0-100 almost too quickly for it to feel very intense. A lot of moments felt repetitive and the same scenario just rehashed throughout. Overall I can see how iconic Junji Ito’s art style and sci-fi/horror visual are, but this one was a little lacking for me. I look toward to exploring more of his work!
