I'm split on this. Finished it a few days ago and now just wondering how do I review it? Or even rate it.
4 stars is too high but anything lower seems too low at the same time.
I enjoyed this book because it kept me entertained. Its a fairly different fantasy book, I've read similar styles of paranormals that I have enjoyed more but this is different too. I'd not realised this was a reverse harem or at least it appears to be?
I didn't enjoy some parts of this book and the main point would be the lack of answers. At every turn shes denied knowing 'its better if you don't know' blah blah. Its OK for a chapter or two but the whole book and the final idk 3? chapters she gets some clarity but not enough or not near enough in my opinion. I think its meant to create intrigue and mystery but it was just getting on my damn nerves in the end. I had a suspicion of what was going on but no confirmation after too long just makes me cranky.
I'm going to try the next book otherwise this series is a no thank you for me sadly.
