For the most part, I enjoyed my time reading this. I thought the world building, even though it was in the small town, was great. The cult, the Old God, the types of demons, and the creatures that stalked the night were well thought out. I loved the whole name thing with summoning demons. The spicy scenes were truly spicy—hot under your collar spicy.
With that said, Raelynn kinda ruined it for me. She was a really hard heroine to root for. Her decision making skills were…lacking, along with some common sense.
I still had a fun time though. But it didn’t wow me like I wanted. But I am interested in the other two books.
