This is a fun and adventure packed children’s book that puts a spin on fairy tale lore. And it’s written by one of the best characters on Glee. It doesn’t take much for a children’s/middle grade book to earn 5 stars but in my opinion this was a truly GREAT book. I laughed and thoroughly enjoyed it. Connor is the inner voice in my head and Alex is my more optimistic self.
I liked that the book was easy to read and that for a book centered around fairy tales, it matched the same storytelling energy. The plot twists and lessons learned were predictable but I still enjoyed myself. I think others, adult and children alike, will too
