Stolen Crush by C.M. Stunich

4.0

Stolen Crush is the first book within the Lost Daughter of a Serial Killer series. If I thought C.M. was going to take it easy with me, well, I was completely wrong. Things go from crazy to batshit really freaking quickly. It also doesn't help that everyone is acting sort of suspicious either. Or maybe, just maybe, they are all pretentious rich assholes.

Either way, I was completely hooked. Especially after meeting Dakota. Or is it, Mia? No, she definitely goes by Dakota. Mostly because that's the name she has known for most of her life. It doesn't matter that she was kidnapped at two years old, she doesn't remember the name Mia. So, it's a little weird that she's back with her real mom, Tess. Now she only knows her by Mia and it's difficult for them both. Well, it's even more difficult with Tess's family because they want nothing to do with Mia.

At first. Slowly, she worms her way into some of them. It helps that's she a strong independent bi-sexual girl with a backbone. Or at least she thinks she's bisexual? Either way, I'm excited for her to explore things a bit more in the other two books. I won't be mad if she just sticks with guys in her harem but it's up to her.

Besides the ongoing drama, there's a little mystery lurking in the dark corners of this book. I was wondering if secrets were going to be revealed and was pleasantly surprised when I figured out who one of the suspects could be. With Parrish being kidnapped, I can only imagine the worst outcome since her dad has him. Definitely hoping that they find a way to save him because I will riot if he doesn't make it.

Other than that, I need more romance. The sexual tension is killing me here people. Plus, she really does just need good news. I don't really care about her relationship with Tess at this point. I just want Parrish back.
