Fairydale is a monstrous, chaotic ride. Dark, bloody, and wickedly twisted. Lancet blends gothic horror with demon romance, crafting a story that’s both fascinating and overwhelming. The characters are flawed and complex, the plot is packed with shocking turns, and the spice is unapologetically filthy. It’s long, maybe too long, but the intensity and narration kept me hooked. Definitely a book for readers who want their fantasy romance dripping in darkness and danger.
Graphic: Gore, Sexual assault, Sexual content, Sexual violence, Torture, Blood
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Violence, Gaslighting
Minor: Drug use
This is a dark, violent, and hyper-sexual gothic fantasy with heavy body horror and shocking twists. It’s not for the faint-hearted. The sheer length makes it feel overwhelming at times, but the narration does keep you engaged.
