Yes this is a romance book but grief is certainly a main topic covered, just be prepared. Magical realism is at play here so if you like that sort of thing (I love it) then you may enjoy this one. 

I have to say I just didn’t fall in love with the two love interests in this story as much as I really wanted to.Most of the book takes place in a small town in South Carolina , in preparation for a funeral.
