This is a decent collection of Bible stories retold in children's storybook form. This is definitely geared towards older kids as there are a lot of words on the pages. I do like how it doesn't hold back on some theological issues or stories and how it makes it very clear how every story points to Jesus. Essentially, this a good way to start having some spiritual conversations with your kid. However, like a lot of Christian media, this is disproportionally Gospel Stories. Yes, the focus is on Jesus, but it would be nice to see a lot more of David, Abraham, Moses, or various prophets. Is it too much to ask to learn the first three quarters of our Bible? Not to mention anything in Acts. We get two stories after Jesus, which just seems too little. This is already a thick children's book, all I'm asking is for it to be thicker! Regardless, a pretty decent collection of stories.
