This was like an episode of Black Mirror. Think the Miley Cyrus epsiode (my fav).

Tyler is the heart-throb of the boyband. He is expected to be wholesome and available. According to management kissing another member on stage doesn't fit that image.

When Tyler and Jasper continue their romantic relationship, Jeff their manage takes control of the situation... literally. Each member has an implant that helps tune them when singing, and when Tyler refuses to listen to Jeff his voice is silenced.

This short story is about the importance of ones voice, to have control of it and to be in control. when that control is taken away from Tyler, he sees the brutal reality of his situation.

This was so intriguing, I wish it was a full lenght novel. Or a full blown Black Mirror episode (*cough*Netflix get on that*cough*).
