The Lost City of the Monkey God by Douglas Preston

4.0

Could have used something (maybe better editing or a different way of organizing) to reduce some repetitiveness, but overall a very interesting account of a journey to one of the last known areas that have remained untainted by humans for the past hundreds of years. Given my background I was fascinated by the epidemiological portions, but the parts about archaeology and culture were also very interesting. I wish that the photos had come out clearer on my kindle, but that is through not fault of the author.
