Learning at the end that all of the pages fit together into one (very beautiful) painting makes me think that this was approached as a piece of art first, and a comic second. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, although it does make the reading experience a bit chaotic. Overall, an interesting read from an Indigenous Canadian artist, but not really for me.
