I remain unconvinced. I tried to be trusting, and at the end of the day if the author is happy with where she took the story, then *slow clap* for her.
If someone is willing to refund my money for book one, then I will happily give this book five stars, but since this book essentially turns that one into a huge pointless joke, I’m giving this a DFC . As in I don’t fucking care to read anymore books that could possibly end up being pointless.
