Very cute! It is from the POV of an author (the FMC is an author), so that always feels a bit like breaking the fourth wall. This was a bit intense with the stalker/violence theme buuuutttt personally I love a touch of a thriller/crime feel and this checked that box. The book was so good that I downloaded 4 more Maggie Gates books, so I would recommend it.
