This was my very first book that was a little darker and spicier than my usual reads. This was incredibly short with it being only 44 pages, I binged it on an hour. Originally, I was enjoying it, until I discovered it was a 19 year old female and a 40 year old male. The stalking and obsession was actually enjoyable to read about. I loved how Clarke worshipped Emery in every single way. I mean he even made a university for her! The only reason this is deducted stars is because of the ridiculous age gap and the epilogue. The roleplaying was not it for me. Overall, I felt pretty divided and would have rated this higher if the age gap was not so severe. I definitely would be willing to try another Jessa book again at some point.
