The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins

5.0

I am not going to lie, I've read A LOT of thrillers here recently - too many to count! And when I say this has got to be one of the ABSOLUTE BEST ones I've read in a long time, I mean it! The Wife Upstairs was so incredibly good and I was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

This thriller literally had it ALL. I was so intrigued to find out more and more as the plot unraveled. I found it so interesting that each character wasn't necessarily likable, yet I found myself still wanting Jane to get the life she so desperately dreamed of. I flew through these pages eagerly wondering what would happen next. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, I was proved wrong.

I give The Wife Upstairs 5 HUGE STARS! This thriller was so incredibly well written by Rachel Hawkins. Each character developed at a steady pace, and the twists and turns in the plot were expertly placed. I blew through this book because the anticipation and the build-up was so fascinating. This was my first novel by Hawkins and it will surely not be my last. This was hands down one of the best thrillers/mysteries I've ever read!

Thank you to St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for providing me this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
