Nothing Ever Happens Here by Sarah Hagger-Holt

Honestly, even though I think the target audience for this book is below me, I definitely enjoyed it. The topics were definitely oversimplified, however I feel like that can be tolerated in a book for younger audiences. However the almost constant misgendering was almost intolerable in the beginning and I felt so poorly for Danielle, she had to constantly be apologetic for her identity, definitely feel like some topics could have been explored in more complex, nuanced ways.
