Vengeance Is Mine by Michael Wood

5.0

A girl was taken from the streets on her 13th birthday and brutally murdered. Twenty years later, the killer is due to be released from prison which prompts his ex-lover to confess to her daughter that her father is a murderer.
Dawn is shocked to discover the truth, but launches herself into learning as much as she can about her newly discovered father.

Vengeance is Mine is a book that had me gripped right from the first chapter. Michael Wood has the most wonderful way of writing that draws you in and doesn't let you go until you've finished reading; this was the kind of book that makes me read 'just one more chapter'.

The characters were expertly written and I became immersed into their world, needing to know all the details of what had happened.

This is the second book I have read recently by Michael Wood and I will certainly be looking to read more of his books and they have both been excellent.

My thanks to the Publishers and NetGalley for sending me this ARC in return for an honest review.
