Audiobook review:
I fall more in love with this series with each release. The duet narration performed by Samantha Brentmoor and Patrick Zeller provided a great range of depth, emotions, fun and passion. They genuinely brought Olivia and Garrett to life, as well as the rest of the cast of friends and family. The group text chats were so much fun! I want to visit New Hope and join in on the fun at Cooters & Shooters!
Samantha Brentmoor delivered a fun and heartwarming performance of Olivia - I especially loved the little twang to her accent. Patrick Zeller brought the humor and burliness to Garrett with his deep voice, but also emanated so much passion and angst when Garrett had intimate thoughts and moments with Olivia. Their duet performance made this story and these characters an exceptional, must listen.
Garrett and Olivia may have went from high school and college sweethearts planning a future one day, to nothing the next, but their love for one another never wained. They were always meant to find their way back to one another, and build their little family surrounded by those they love the most. The Way We Score was sweet and spicy and everything in between and I highly recommend the read/listen of the entire series to date. I have a feeling there's much more fun and heat coming our way with this group.
